The Concept
Heritage Express' concept revolves around communicating the Emirati culture through genuine and immersive experiences. We believe that heritage is best expressed when it comes right from the source; an experienced Emirati Cultural Ambassador.
Our main objective is to narrate real stories about the local culture, without the oriental fluff that is now a commonality used to market Arabic cultures. The UAE culture is rich in its traditions and customs and we take pride in highlighting how different and exciting it is in every aspect.
To gauge the Emirati culture properly, we designed our Dubai tour to cover all that matters. We begin with a discussion between a cultural ambassador and a bedouin who explain the realities of desert life and introduce you to our desert friends.
After an engaging show-and-tell, our guests board our custom trolley bus to start their journey. The bus is designed to mimic an authentic Emirati majlis (gathering area). We go around Old Dubai's most historically significant landmarks, including Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding, Al Seef, Fahidi Fort, Dubai Abra, Al Shindagha, Union House, and Jumeirah Mosque.
We end the journey with a choice of authentic Emirati breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Centre for Cultural Understanding. Coupled with a rich discussion and an open Q&A session, this gathering fuels both your mind and body.
